Early in his career he worked at Teleperformance, the world’s largest contact center, building instructional design and training thousands of employees. He was put in charge of employee retention for an entire division, helping inspire leaders to think differently about their staff and putting programs in place to reduce employee attrition from 10% monthly down to 10% annually.
At Pinnacle Security, a Utah based door to door security sales company he commanded the attention of over 1000 security consultants as he developed the most advanced product focused training curriculum the security industry had ever seen. He was asked to build a customer marketing department to engage over 300,000 end-user customers and increased both usage and referrals. Pinnacle grew and was purchased by Protection One in 2013.
He joined Devcon Security, helping to rebrand its traditional look and feel to give it a modern look. Directing powerful marketing video content and customer service training Jeremy’s efforts were so impactful it helped Devcon’s acquisition by ADT in 2013.
Jeremy was employee #9 at Qolsys, a small Silicon Valley based technology startup that led a marketing revolution in the security industry, disrupting stagnant incumbents and taking significant market share. He redefined flyers, paperwork and instruction manuals, directed thousands of videos, hosted hundreds of webinars with thousands of participants, educating and inspiring people to think differently and focus on product instead of price. Jeremy regularly spoke at industry events, and facilitated the annual “Quality of Life Summit,” the industry’s most impactful customer event and built disruptive experiences at industry trade shows, helped to redefine what we consider “marketing” in the security technology space. Qolsys became the dominant product line in the residential security space, unseating Honeywell and GE Security, and was acquired by Johnson Controls in 2020.
Jeremy was asked to lead global marketing efforts at Johnson Controls, directing over 40 marketing team members on 4 different continents. He helped combined over 20 unique brands into a single powerful JCI brand with regional-specific product lines that drove demand generation and content creation efforts to great success.
Jeremy lives in Utah with his wife Erin and their 5 children. They enjoy hiking, off roading in the family Jeep, mountain biking, camping and being outside in a state that is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. They maintain a small Youtube channel “1111 Overland” to celebrate their journeys together.
